Ener-Vate team visit Queen's Quay Energy Centre in West Dunbartonshire
Last week, Ener-Vate's Jo Longdon, Andy Kirwan and James Hadfield had the pleasure of visiting Queen’s Quay Energy Centre in West Dunbartonshire, Scotland, with Vital Energi Utilities Limited.
It was fantastic to see an operating, large-scale low carbon heat development, especially as it puts the scale of development at our Liverpool Waters district heating project into perspective, and paves the way for further projects along the River Clyde and our other waterside locations around the country.
Jonathan Burley, Commercial Director at Peel NRE, said: “It’s great to see a successful low carbon heat development at such a large scale, specifically when using water source heat pump technology. Queen’s Quay is an essential reference project as demand for low carbon heat sources increases across Scotland and the rest of the UK.”
Thank you, Vital Energi for an informative and inspiring visit!
