Ener-Vate co-host successful Leeds PIPES breakfast event
We were delighted to partner with Vital Energi Utilities Limited and Leeds City Council at a Leeds PIPES breakfast event recently, educating developers and consultants on why Heat Networks are a key pathway to the decarbonisation of heat.
Andy Kirwan, Ener-Vate Cities Manager said "As someone who was born and grown up in Leeds it's difficult to maintain an unbiased viewpoint, however, Leeds PIPES is an exemplar project of how to develop, design, install and expand a city hear network at scale. The strategic, forward thinking vision of Leeds City Council and commitment to alleviating fuel poverty, whilst also balancing contribution to net-zero targets is not an easy task - and it is a personal privilege to have supported the growth and expansion of the network for the last 5 years".
