Ener-Vate announce creation of two new roles!

Ener-Vate has established a reputation for being a trusted commercial advisor and partner to our clients within the decentralised energy / low carbon heating sector. We support our clients from the concept stages of feasibility, business case development, commercialisation, funding applications, procurement, project management and asset management of low carbon energy infrastructure delivered typically via an Energy Services Company.

We are currently recruiting for a Commercial Consultant and Delivery Co-ordinator.

Job Title: Delivery Co-Ordinator

Location: Stoke-on-Trent / Manchester

We are seeking a new team member to support projects that have advanced passed the initial feasibility stages of the development process. Reporting to the project development manager and operations director, the role will require strong organisation and communication skills. An appreciation of programmes and critical path would be beneficial, as well as the ability to analyse situations and mitigate challenges.

Many of the projects will require a planning application, so the role will involve assisting in the coordination and management of the planning submissions to ensure the best outcome. Interest in the planning process would therefore be advantageous, as an understanding will inevitably develop in this role.      

Ideally, we are looking for some who can represent our growing brand and reputation and has the ability to adapt in a dynamic environment, absorb and interpret technical and commercial information. We want someone who has experience and an understanding of low carbon energy and we would also prefer you to have a valid UK driving licence.

With regards to education, if you were to have completed a degree or equivalent within an Engineering or Energy discipline, it would be advantageous and helpful when completing this role.

What will you be doing?

Day to day, you will support, assist and coordinate the development of decentralised energy and decarbonisation of heat projects. You will maintain project management documents whilst developing your own project management skills and you will communicate any highlighting potential issues to the development manager.

You’ll attend meeting, logging actions and taking minutes and you will identify and chase any outstanding activities.

Any area where you will find you spend a large part of your role will be in supporting development delivery strategies, planning strategies and considering how feasible a project is in terms of its deliverability.

Job Title: Commercial Consultant

Location: Stoke-on-Trent / Manchester

Reporting to the Senior Consultant, the Commercial Consultant will support the consultancy delivery of the business either directly or indirectly, across the value chain in which Ener-Vate contracts with clients. In parallel, the Commercial Consultant will continuously assist in the development of new, innovative products and markets which Ener-Vate can grow and /or establish across all forms of marketing and media.

Ideally, we are looking for some who can represent our growing brand and reputation and has the ability to adapt in a dynamic environment, absorb and interpret technical, legal and commercial information. We want someone who has experience and an understanding  of the Energy Markets and renewables and we would also prefer you to have a valid UK driving licence.

With regards to education, if you were to have completed a degree or equivalent within an Engineering or Energy discipline, it would be advantageous and helpful when completing this role.

What will you be doing?

Day to day, you will be responsible for supporting the Senior Consultant in delivering against our national contract requirements and advising and leading on the development of decentralised energy, as well as decarbonisation of heat projects.

You will support in identifying, developing and delivering new business opportunities and produce high quality professional client facing output reports and presentation documents.
