Get to know our new Head of Consultancy - Peter Baynham!
Tell us everything about your new role – what are your responsibilities, what are your top priorities?
I started my role of Head of Consultancy in April and have a few priorities that I am working on. I will be positioning the team for anticipated growth centered around new regulation on heat zoning and net zero carbon and I will be ensuring that the team embed themselves within the customer organisation so that we have full view of their priorities and develop long term repeat business relationships.
What's your background/experience?
I have 25 years in the energy industry in a plethora of different roles ranging from gas trading and operations, property and asset management, all shared service management including IT and IS, fleet, procurement, payroll; marketing and public relations including direct government lobbying for the energy industry as well as starting new businesses within EON and an energy company with a specific defence focus.
What’s your proudest moment?
Outside of my children, peaking Kala Patthar (5644m) in the Himalayas or maybe my first E1 climb!
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
Mountaineering, rock climbing, I’m also a paddle sports instructor and love getting outside with my kids!
