Ener-Vate's Mark Simpson, Tomi Ibukun & Sarah Elson volunteer at Stoke on Trent Foodbank
Ener-Vate's Senior Consultant Mark Simpson, Associate Consultant Tomi Ibukun and Marketing and Administration Coordinator Sarah Elson recently volunteered at the Stoke on Trent Foodbank warehouse in Blurton, Staffordshire.
Mark, Tomi and Sarah spend the day sorting and packing food to be distributed to the 16 foodbanks across the city who support an average of 1800 people per month.
Sarah said "It was great to be able to help the Foodbank as part of Ener-Vate's ongoing volunteering programme. Speaking to the volunteers, it is clear how important the Foodbank is to local families, so we are thrilled to be able to offer regular support. I'm already looking forward to helping again next month!"
