Ener-Vate join with Courtyard by Marriott to donate over 300 Easter Eggs to local charity
Ener-Vate have partnered with local hotel Courtyard by Marriott – a brand of the Marriott International – to donate over 300 easter eggs to local family support network, the Alice Charity.
Founded in 2011, The Alice Charity support vulnerable and disadvantaged families across Stoke- on-Trent and Newcastle-Under-Lyme by providing various services to families in the area who require emotional support and help with essential items.
The businesses, both part of Peel L&P and the Peel Group, have joined together to raise awareness of the importance of supporting local charities who are assisting more families than ever due to the cost-of-living crisis.
Commenting on the Easter Appeal, Jo Longdon, Ener-Vate’s Commercial Director said: “This Easter is going to be difficult for hundreds of families across Stoke-on-Trent so we are proud to support the Alice Charity again with this year’s Easter Appeal.
“This appeal builds on Ener-Vate’s previous work to provide over £1000 worth of toys to local children through the Alice Charity.
“Cost of living pressures are increasing and treats such as Easter Eggs can – unfortunately – be the first to come off the shopping list. We hope that these chocolate eggs will be gifted to those who need them most.”
Scott Randall, General Manager of the Keele-based Courtyard by Marriott commented: “We have been working with the Alice Charity for a while now, most recently the Easter Appeal. We thoroughly support the selfless dedication and effort the whole team at Alice Charity gives and the help they offer to vulnerable families, locally.
“As a team we are proud to help in any way we can and all appreciate the massive difference any time and effort we can offer makes, to these local families.
“We would certainly endorse this fantastic charity, to other local businesses, in the hope they may be able to offer their support also.”
Steph Bradbury, Fundraising Manager at Alice Charity said: “We are so grateful to our friends at Ener-Vate and Courtyard by Marriot for their generous donations towards this year’s Easter Appeal.
“The donations will directly support vulnerable children and families across Stoke-on-Trent and Newcastle-under-Lyme by providing a goody over Easter.
“The Alice Charity would not be able to help families without the support of local people, organisations and businesses, so if you can spare some time or a donation, please do get in touch!”
