We support developers in understanding the most appropriate low-carbon options for their schemes, whether that’s heat pumps, heat networks or the use of external heat sources such as Energy from Waste. The focus is always on finding solutions that meet planning and sustainability requirements without compromising the overall viability of the development.
Working from early-stage design, we analyse development layouts and accommodation schedules to shape the most suitable approach. This is supported by detailed technical and commercial assessments, including modelling to compare low-carbon solutions with traditional systems and understand the impact on capital costs.
We also identify opportunities for external investment and funding, helping to reduce the upfront cost burden on developers. This includes support with funding applications such as the Green Heat Network Fund where appropriate.
Beyond this, we provide support through procurement, including the appointment of ESCo partners, and work with legal teams to develop the required commercial structures and agreements. We also help manage engagement with stakeholders, including local authorities and planning teams, to support a smooth delivery process.
From there, we can support procurement and delivery through to project management and ongoing asset performance, helping to ensure schemes are successfully delivered and operate as intended.
