Purpose of the role

To discharge contract requirements as directed by the Head of Contracts:

  • Delivery and ongoing management of non-complex contract compliance services as required under MANAGE or other Ener-Vate services. 
  • Provide project governance and administrative support to the Contracts teams as required.
  • Represent our clients in a professional manner and holding Service Providers to account on their obligations.
  • Provide support across Ener-Vate as required.

Essential Skills/ Experience/ Qualifications required

  • Critical eye for detail.
  • Highly organised and able to support multiple contracts, conflicting demands and deadlines through effective time management.
  • Excellent presentation and report writing skills for a variety of client types and forums.
  • Good stakeholder management skills delivered in a professional and credible manner

Desired Skills/ Experience preferred

  • Demonstrable experience in development and management of a range of relevant commercial contracts.
  • Basic understanding of a heat network lifecycle (from conception to operation).
  • Basic level technical competency in heat networks in order to challenge and engage the wider team as appropriate.
  • Basic understanding of metering and billing.
  • Basic understanding of contractual mechanisms and the impact of risk mitigation and management.

Duties of the role:

  • Work with the Contracts team to manage a portfolio of non-complex MANAGE contracts to ensure that parties meets their ongoing contract obligations, on behalf of the client.
  • Lead, initially with support, review meetings as required under the contracts to ensure service levels are met and rectification plans are put in place and actioned where standards are not met.
  • Create a robust, credible and trusting working relationship with clients.
  • Attend meetings with the Head of Contracts and Contract Manager to provide administrative support, such as producing meeting minutes and action logs.
  • Manage action logs, ensuring close out of actions and chasing responsible parties as appropriate.
  • Provide contract summaries and obligation summaries to support definition of contract obligations.
  • Provide administrative contract development support as required by the Head of Contracts.

Package between £34,000 - £38,000. 
Home based with occasional travel to our offices in Stoke-on-Trent, Manchester and London.
