Metropolitan Thames Valley Housing appoints Ener-Vate for the former Shredded Wheat factory site development.

Metropolitan Thames Valley Housing has appointed Ener-Vate to perform an economic feasibility study, considering the deployment of District Heating on the former Shredded Wheat factory site development. Ener-Vate will review the proposed development masterplan and based upon their industry-leading knowledge and expertise within this sector, develop a Commercial Model to test the economic feasibility of delivering lower carbon heat via District Heating through an ESCo agreement.

  • We have extensive knowledge of District Heating schemes using Biomass Boilers as part of the Energy mix. Lots of examples in France with Engie. We also have a Biomass Boiler at the Kings Yard Energy centre on the Olympic park scheme in Stratford East London.
